hi everybody,

i'm nate and i am the proud new owner of mianna's 94 blue NA miata. I also have an 07 Audi A4 and an 05 yamaha R6, but i'm leaving for law school up in sacramento in about a week so i needed a reliable cheap to fix and fun car while is stored my audi and moto.

so enough talking, here are some pics the day after i picked it up from anna, gave it a fresh wash and wax:

i've removed the zoom zoom decals after these pics were taken, kinda want to remove the racing stripes too, but the paint underneath is probably shinier than the body, so ill probably hold off until i decide to re-spray the car maybe.

you can see my audi and moto in the back, i also had my friends help me detail my audi:

and my buddy caoboy's poor NA that got backed into by his buddy:

and my other buddy's GTI:

the miata's already got a good amt of mods, KYB shocks with tein springs, harddog rollbar, cross drilled rotors, mazdaspeed short shifter, and borbet wheels

i've already ordered FM frame rails and FM front sway bar, will most definately swap out the rims for something lighter, the borbets weigh 21 lbs each for 15x6

the audi's got a good number of mods too, mostly go fast bits, very few exterior mods besides the volk ce28n's 19x8.5 and the s4 aluminum mirror caps

so yup, i'm a 4 wheeled and 2 wheeled enthusiast, and i look forward to learning from all of you and hopefully meeting some of you as well!

Holy crap... The wheels are about 5% of the weight of the entire car...

Welcome! Looks like mianna's car found a good home.

thanks for the warm welcome guys,

quick question, i have some German Castrol 0w30 full synthetic sitting in my garage, will it be okay to feed it to my miata?

also anyone know how quick toguerun ships? or if i can pick up since they are local? i need a new quick release since the one that came with the car wobbles a little

also any tips to rid bolts of their rust/oxidation?

thanks in advance!

welcome to NCR! I'm sure it would run fine with 0w30. but 5w30 or higher depending on age would be more recommended. rust? wire brush?

Welcome to the community, Nate! It's always nice when someone buys an NCR person's car and then joins himself, too. :)

I like your choice of transportation quite a lot. Is your Audi FWD or quattro?

thanks for the warm welcome! the Audi's a FWD, but it does have Stassis Coilovers, RS4 rear sway bar, APR flash, APR fuel pump, Carbonio intake, and a 034 High flow cat, so it's plenty fast for a 3400lb german piggy

Excellent. I approve of modified German piggies, particularly once they're modified to be less piggy. It would be nice if they were a little lighter from the factory, though.
